The Office of University Development is donor-centered, with proven leaders and an effective infrastructure.
As a multimedia intern in the Office of University Development, I operate alongside members of the MarCom team to determine media and asset needs for 2-3 projects per semester, assist with the planning and producing of content and completing post-production processing, and design motion graphics for 1-2 promotional projects each semester to be sent to university stakeholders and alumni.

Digital Asset Collaborative (DAC)
Currently, I am assisting in the organization and development of the Digital Asset Collaborative (DAC), a service for managing finished digital assets produced in the course of or for use in Official University Business specifically in the areas of marketing, communications, academics, and research. Having a central, well-managed system benefits all stakeholders in terms of diversity of representation, efficiency, and enhanced visibility across units.
Through this role, I have been tasked with working to organize the metadata for images currently in the DAC through tagging keywords within images, locations, and departments to allow users to more easily locate necessary images. Check out the DAC below!
Bold Ideas Summit
My first summer working at OUD I was tasked with creating quote animations for the department's upcoming "Bold Ideas Summit". This summit brought together some of the university's largest donors and supporters in an innovative setting.
These 5 to 10 second animations were later edited into a longer video featuring some of the University of Michigan's deans and figures.
Adobe Express Templates
Recently, I worked at the intersection of the MarCom and Social Media departments designing and developing graphic templates using Abode Express.
These templates allow our social media team to create graphics that follow our brand guidelines with ease!
